Throttle response and Dealership tuning

    Considering that the throttle is totally electronic, will a dealership adjust throttle sensitivity? I have a manual and feel I would have better control with a more sensitive throttle.

    Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
    Factory scan tools cannot change the throttle curve. Emissions reasons are why the throttles are laggy (since snapping a throttle to shift gears apparently makes the engine run way more evil like for a split second)


    Aftermarket tune is the only
    Option (or pedal commander, but I have seen those cause fail safe limp modes due to power draw)

    YotaWerx Blackhawk 2.0 tuned. Typer Auto tail light guards. Rough Country tri-fold tonneau cover. Start-X remote starter. Injen CAI. MBPR Armor Plus high clearance exhaust.
    There have been some service bulletins for ECU/TCU reflashes to address the shifting issues in 3rd gen Tacomas but nothing for throttle response unfortunately.

    Aftermarket tuned do a great job of addressing both though! Driving my Tacoma became so much more enjoyable after I flashed mine! It was probably the best mod I’ve done on my truck, especially since it’s my daily driver.
