My 01 Tacoma (3.4L V6) has been throwing codes for the charcoal canister & fuel pressure sensor for 3 years.

I replaced the canister (an aftermarket I think was about $200) & all the hoses.

Gave up & mechanic said it was the fuel pressure sensor (an AC DELCO part that’s no longer manufactured & used is over $125) only to get the same codes. I reset them & passed emissions twice.

DON’T start there. Start with the up & down stream O2 sensors.

I replaced those, drove about 200 miles & no codes. Passed emissions with no problem!

Had the same issue Error code p0446, p0441, but drove the truck for over a year, until smog test came, Swapped out purge valve with the pops 4runner and decided to get a OBDII reader and got p0171, p1130, p1135. So I changed a cracked hose next to air filter, and then got a new upstream o2 sensor. and it cleared up and passed inspection. swapped back to the old cracked hose because it fit better and thought the crack wasn't so bad to light the p0171 code. , A week later the p0446 and p0441 appeared. So I swapped the hose again, and the wait begins.....lol

Don't throw O2 sensors at this either. P0441 and P0446 are fuel vapor evap emissions codes. They have nothing to do with O2 sensors. 100% this is not good advice.

You are right, my situation was a coincidence. I was looking for cracked hose to address the P0171 issue the dead 02 sensor created (p1130). Because of this the P0441/6 was fixed.
