    Hey all...

We were at Pismo this last weekend with the Taco and my son was doing donuts in the sand, going over dunes, etc. All was fine with the truck and he went to get gas in town. After filling up, the CEL came on along with the TracControl light. Did all kinds of weird shifting, high RPMS, on the way home. Read it for codes and it came up with P0751 and P0776. I know that these are pressure control solenoid issues with the tranny, but I am wondering if it is a DIY job to replace these parts. I really am not familiar with auto transmissions, so I don't want to bite off more than I can chew. We thought maybe it was a fluid overheating issue, but not sure. The truck only has 14K on it, so I really doubt it is low fluid. Hoping to get him back on the road soon.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

The first thing I would do is verify fluid level and condition, some were underfilled at the factory so never assume the level is good.

Thank you... That is where I will start. Link to best fluid pump for putting fluid in the transmission?

Don't know, I used a suction gun to fill mine but mine's a manual.
