    You may want to contact etrailer. They sell a lot of parts and kits for Thule and other manufacturers.

    My experience with their customer service has been helpful.

    I would also suggest that you look at the OEM rack. I have it on my '11 since new and have been very happy with it. I often carry a 14 ft canoe without issue. The best attribute of the system is that the cross bars fold into the brackets so you get no wind noise, or wind resistance when the racks are not in use. Also, I believe that at the time the OEM unit was cheaper than Thule, Yakima, or other aftermarket brands. I have no idea if you can still get an OEM rack, but I would check with local junkyard and see if you can get a used one.
