Thump / bottom out when I hit speed bump

The TRD OR shocks aren't bottoming out on speed bumps. You're hearing and feeling the clunk of the internal shock piston hitting the second stage bump zone (Bilstein calls it the End Stop Control Valve). Watch the Icon video that's been posted and look at the section where they have the OR shock on the dyno. You can hear the clunk and see the force spike. I can clearly hear the clunk on speed bumps, large dips, and big potholes.

 

Yes just noticed it w new 24 trd or, found your post seeing if it was just me but see a few posts now surfacing

 

My 24 does the same thing. I was thinking that maybe the mudflaps are hitting the bump on the way down?

 

Thankfully! Someone that knows what’s happening. Damn. This was driving me crazy. !! Time for new shocks and coils!!
