Hey I plan on changing my brake pads and rotors in about week. However, I've been getting a thump from my brakes every now-n-again when stopping. It feels as if the brakes are letting go for split second then grabbing again. It only occurs when I'm almost completely stopped. Any idea what it could be? My fluid levels are good if it matters.

Grease all the zerks on your prop shaft. Don't forget the slip joint.

In these situations, the search function can be your friend. Heck, just scroll to the bottom of this page and you'll find several threads on this very topic.

Research, research and more research. All the things you are asking about have been asked (and answered) before. Many times in fact.
