Damn that's bright! Makes me want to slap some on my bike but I plan on selling so it's not worth it. Good to know for the next bike.

Making me want to look at headlight options in the truck and the runner. Damn

It was a lot easier to do than HID that's for sure, just needed to find a place to tuck and zip tie the driver away (the little rectangular box a few inches from the LED assembly itself). And the beam pattern is much more focused than HID without the need for a projector retro.

Huge difference in what I can see on the road now. I'm no longer looking for where the road is after a car passes me on a two lane road haha

I would definitely recommend on the 4runner, probably wouldn't on the truck though. The cooling fan seems like a liability when it comes to getting a bunch of dirt/mud on it.

I lean the same way. Truck has enough problems anyways, and I'm not sure I could find the room behind the headlight with the dual battery tray.

Just crossed 200k miles! I took a sample of my used oil (Super Tech 5w-30 after close to 5k miles) to be sent in to Blackstone Labs for testing. Curious to see how the Super Tech holds up, considering it's about $15 for a 5 quart jug of synthetic.

Upper radiator plastic has a small crack. Gonna do a little flush of the system today and put a new rad in tomorrow

Too late, I got an OSC model since it was the only 5VZ manual tranny rad I could get.

I don't spray the alternator with tire foam.

It seemed relatively decent compared to OEM. A couple of the bolts holding the plastic to the mounting brackets were slightly loose so I snugged them up. No issues so far after 1k miles and one wheeling trip.

    Awesome.

I moved my auto radiator up a couple inches for skid clearance, before I swapped to a manual. But it would be nice to drop it back down with a manual radiator.

Yeah, they seem to be the only manufacturer that makes the 5 speed radiator (which doesn't have the lines for the tranny cooler).

I forget exactly, but drilled new holes and had to modify the fan shroud. I can take pics of you'd like.

Get a 2rz, 2wd radiator. They are shorter and sit above the bottom of the frame rails.

I was going to mention that - they make radiators at varying heights

But is that adequate cooling for a v6? My 5vz have always overheated pretty easily
