Plenty of clearance for my hand when I'm doing tight turns and whatnot.
I played around with the positioning quite a bit and I like it best this way (portrait orientation, tilted forward just a little bit).

Thanks guys. Only mod I've done with it recently was I took the spare tire brackets off from under the bed. No sense having those there anymore.

I am honestly shocked at how well the dip has held up after the TN TW LBL trip. I thought the mud would stain it but nope. Whatever kind of mud that stained it previously must have been radioactive.

Also, I scraped hard on numerous tree branches. The only tiny mark I could find was on a fender flare, and even then, none of it peeled up or tore. Not bad for a three year old plastidip job.

update, alternator died due to mud.. so I got a new one for free from Autozone.

Truck is now in the shop for the first time in 3 years (which was for a bad axle seal):

-Timing belt/ water bump/ drive belts/ pulleys/ bearings etc etc etc
-New driver side Valve cover/ both side Valve cover gaskets/ Cam seals/ Half moons etc etc etc
-Check Valve clearance, adjust if needed
    -Pressurized fuel injection cleaning
    -Clean intake plenum of gunk

    Currently sporting a 2004 ES300 loaner :bananadance:

Probably going to get taken to the cleaners with this bill.

Got taken to the cleaners... now my AC system needs work.. might as well throw more money at my truck :spending:

New compressor, condensor, drier, and expansion valve.
    New upper ball joints.

Just gonna pay the same shop to do the work... none of this crap is very DIYer friendly. Oh well... UBJs lasted 182k miles... can't complain. AC system on the other hand... ergh. This will be the third compressor.

UBJ boots have tears in them.. used the opportunity to stuff the boots with grease. Maybe it'll work it's way around in there and shut them up for a while. Then I'll worry about fixing later.
