No prob, ten years ago that would have been suspect number one. Snugged all the bed bolts. I do have to wonder about the support goint directly over the wheels hovering rmm off the frame.........couldn't they throw a bolt on there for good measure?

One other thing I noticed. My u-bolt plate that the shocks are mounted to are not quite level with each other. The passenger side has the bolt ends straight down but the driver side are a few degrees forward. Anybody else like that or is this an issue?

This does not set right with me. I would remove the cockeyed ubolt plate and re-install it. Is it possible that the centering pin is not properly situated in the hole of the axle housing?

Spring bushings appear to be fine. I will add reinstalling the spring perch to this weekend's things to do list.

Good news though guys. I found an old el cheapo chinese mini surveilance camera my tactical team tried using for training but couldn't because it doesn't do indoor lighting very well. Well, works great in natural light. I JB Welded a high strength magnet to the back of it last night and started getting some different angles on the suspension with audio. Tomorrow when the family takes off I will get some more angles and cut up a video to send your way. I don't know why I wasn't using this before. Cheap and pretty good results.

This is what I am using: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Video-...671899?pt=Digital_Cameras&hash=item5630d8571b

Oh yeah, the spring center bolt appears to be in place in the axle perch. it sits flush but I will inspect it this weekend.

Wow that video took a lot of work. It's been bugging you that long, three years? I'd be going nuts too! That being said, that is exactly the sound the hook in my hitch makes when I go over bumps too.

Other than that, when I saw the leaf springs like what was said above, that's the first thing I though of too.

    :notsure:

    Sorry. That's all I got.

It's only been happening for three or four months. I put the lift on almost a year ago. The leaf is a OME Dakar. Definitely annoying.

And you haven't changed ANYTHING in the drive train or suspension on this truck sense installing the lift almost a year ago?

At about 18 to 30 seconds of the video it looks as if the rear u-joint is hitting the gas tank skid (from the shiny spot of metal on the skid next to the u-joint). Might be a possibility??

I think I marked that up when I pulled the shaft.

Does anyone know if the bed support subframe rail directly above the rear wheels are supposed to touch the frame? Mine sits about a millimeter off the frame.
