Dealer called to tell my the DCLB I ordered has been "built" and he's got a VIN. Trying to figure out what that means as to when he'll actually have it there for me to pick-up. It feels like the night before Christmas but I can't tell how long until sunrise.

Congrats. Mine is being built today too and ETA at dealer is 11/5. Built in Texas, not sure if that matters over Mexico. OR DBSC 4x4 AT MGM

Congrats to all prospective new owners!

When I bought mine, I read thru the forum and the only concerning trending issues was the ATF being low, a buzzing sound and that the U-joints where dry, which I quickly dismissed as bunk as I’ve never known Toyota vehicles to be low on any lube, and I would figure out the buzzing and solve the problem, and I’ve had zero issues in those regards so far.

But with all the new issues popping up almost daily, I find myself turning the radio off very often while driving and popping the hood open every other day checking for oil leaks, idle irregularities and chirping sounds which is something I never have done before with any of my previous Toyotas and still don’t on my others.

So, again, congrats! And my best wishes to all new and future owners, loving mine so far, but must confess to hearing a...
    Tick - Tock

    Cheers!
