Ticking lifters/valves--2.4 engine?

I'm sure this has been discussed but i can't find it--- Have a 99 2.4 with 124K on it, hearing what might be? ticking noise from lifters???

Tried Marvel Mystery Oil, no help. Going to go to 5w30 oil, synthetic... maybe flow better.
Any ideas? Or should I drive it and forget it?
