    Howdy Gang,

Heard a tick tick tick as the wife pulled away this morning in the Taco.
    '07 V6 TRD SR5, 65k miles.

I stopped her and got under the hood. I know the valve tick noise quite well and this is not that. It seems to be coming from right side of the engine bay, near the front. I want to say its around the alternator or other pulleys on that side of the motor.

Any thoughts on what to look for?

    Can ya spell Tonneau

Think it's in the alternator? Or could it be an injector on that side? I'd start with a stethoscope or a hose to my ear and search for the sound.
You can pick up a cheap one that works from HF.
