IMO I like mine, or you can sometimes score a used one. I'd be happy to show you mine set up in my truck if our paths are close

I checked ebay for anyone trying to unload an ultragague. None to be had. In fact the only ones on there were overpriced ones from china or the UK.

can't find in the details if this scanner supports mode6 data..which can be extremely helpful with diagnosing potential concerns that have not set a MIL/DTC

My scanner did come in, it's just I'm caught up in an lca replacement. I was having issues on the passenger side. Decided to replace the bushings in my stock arms & reinstall those. Glad I did because the mevotech one I installed last year looks like crap. Anyway, I know you're all on the edge of your seats (yawn) waiting for me to hook up the scanner. As usual, things take me at least twice as long.... Hopefully by wed, thurs I'll be back on the road....

Ha-ha! Got the bushings done, but all day long I was at it & cannot (& don't say that say often) get the freakin washers in along with the arm. Why the heck are the washers separate?!?! (Whiteline) Not a question for you. Just ranting....

This right here. I dropped those washers so many times trying to do everything with two hands. Learned to put a clean plastic sheet under the whole thing so as the greased washers wouldn’t pick up as much dirt

So finally got it hooked up. There’s not much in the way of instructions, although not so uncommon these days what with the WWW.
it’s a beautiful day here in MA, rain on the way tomorrow, so not feeling like spending it researching right now.
However, figure I’d post these & see what I get for feedback. These are in park after a short trip around town.
The idle went jumping from anywhere between 1130-1159

    That looks about right
The MAF should be close to the engine displacement at a warm idle. But you idle is high so it’s pretty close.

The IAT seems a bit high at 94 degrees. But that could be due to the engine heat soaking the air in the engine bay. See what it say going down the highway at 50 mph or so.

Not sure why your idle is high.

I say, take a break and enjoy the rest of the day. And figure out how to get the readings to U.S measurements.

This ol’ country boy don’t know his metric system too well. Other than bolt and wrench sizes. ;)

    ok. Thank you!
I found other options that display fuel trim & a couple/few other things. I’ll snapshot those today as well.
Then I have to learn what exactly all these mean in the sense that, whilst I get what the acronyms pertain to, I don’t know how the numbers fit in, what makes them  vs :annoyed:

I’ll do some research & then if something doesn’t click I’ll ask. Might be easier that way. It seems like a lot of ground to cover.
