Ticking under valve cover '98 Tacoma 2.7

    The second from the front gromet is bobbing up and down and ticking

    A few more details would help, a picture maybe?

    If something is moving that shouldn't, tighten it.

    If it is a bomb, wait til the timer gets down to about 3 seconds, then suspensefully cut the blue wire.

    2002 Taco 2.7 4x4 auto, 96 Taco 2.7 4x4 manual, previously 2003 Taco 4x4 auto, 2000 Taco 2.7 4x4 manual, 1994 22RE 4x4 manual, and 1996 T100 4x4 auto
    Or maybe loosen it. Could be that one is too tight, and the cam is hitting the valve cover. I read about this exact problem in another thread on here some time in the last day or two.
