06 Tacoma. Basic no electric windows, no cruise. 2.7 5 spd.
Ticking noise behind dash. Can't isolate it. Constant even with ignition off. AC/heater controls in any position. Lights on or off. Clutch, brake, gas pedals, no change.

How long has this been happening?

    How loud?

Any pranksters in your circle of family and friends?

Lol. It does sound like a timer but it skips a beat every so often. No one in the truck but me. I'm going to disconnect the battery next and see what happens. I did bypass the clutch switch awhile back but this is recent. I can't figure out what it could be with ignition off. Tried to upload a video. No luck.

I bet it's one of the door servos for the A/C system, pull the glovebox down and unplug them one at a time and see if the ticking stops.
