    Eyebolts.

There are threaded holes in the platform (they make a drawer system that attaches)

The platform bolt in using factory holes - same ones that are used to bolt in the seats.

Also, I should clarify that while I love the idea of deleting the seats, my question was about whether anyone had ideas about mods to help tie stuff down with the seats intact but folded down.

If it can be held with a bungee, clip it to either the brackets that hold the seat-backs or the child seat anchors. Or use the seat belts.

If its so heavy that a bungee won't hold it in a wreck, relocate it to the bed and use a ratchet strap.

OK, many thanks for all the ideas! I'll probably go with the RSD.

Not sure if this helps, but I constructed a wood platform for my rolling toolbox so it doesn't damage the seat. Built it for my 2015, fits perfectly in my new 2018.

I built it for the driver's side rear, but could easily do the same for the passenger side or whole back seat. Pretty simple afternoon project, I could measure dimensions if you're interested.
