Tie rod Bolt spins when tighening

    How can i get my tie rod castle bolt tight when i try to tighten it down the bolt spins??

    I am getting kinda desperate. Please and thanks all.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Get the castle nut threaded on just a little bit and then use a large par to pry the tie rod end down so there's lots of pressure on it and start tightening. Once the taper of the bolt sets into arm it'll hold itself.

    I will try that, it seems you have to put a ton of pressure down. There is not really anything to lever off of. This is frustrating.

    Next time you pull the castle nut off wire brush the threads on the tie rod end. That will make reassembly a lot easier.
