Is this gap on the tie rod end and the boot ok?

I didn't pay attention to how "tight" the tie rod end was connecting with the boot where it attaches to the wheel. The other side seems closer together. The wheels are pointed directly straight ahead in the picture. And the castle nut on there is to torque, 53 foot/pounds.

Not sure if I did something wrong with this side. Test drove it and couldn't feel any obvious issues.

The boot forms an tight seal around the steam. Mine were the same way. Doesn't hurt anything but I didn't like it. So I used a small dentist hook tool to "burp" the boot. By inserting it between steam and boot while pushing boot down. That allows air into the boot holding it down.
