Just need a quick question answered. About 10000 miles ago i had my outer tie rod ends replaced... Unfortunately i didn't know any better and had SEARS do the work... NEVER doing that again, but that's a story for another day. Anyway when they installed the tie rods they managed to tear the boots completely. So my question is beings the tie rod ends are practically brand new, can i replace the boots without having to go back and realign the toe in?

Yeah, just mark where the lock nut is before you take it apart. As long as you tighten it to the same spot you'll be fine.

Easy to do. Take off outer rod and done.

I ended up pokin a hole in mine when reclamping it... be careful with stock clamps
