    Hi all,

I changed both tie rod end (left and right) using Moog part. The cotter pin hole on the left tie rod is above the castle nut. The right tie rod no issue.

Anyone had that happened to them?

Maybe the female end where the tie rod goes into is worn out.

Edit - I had this happen once many years ago on a ball joint; I added a washer under the castle nut.

I've seen it a few times. I just re-seat the tie rod, if it still does it with proper torque, I just pin it and don't worry about it.
