Modeled the motor(red) and mount(purple) in Rhino so I could design a cover that snaps on.

I'm getting a MFA in Studio Art. I am a sculptor and do large scale outdoor works as well as some more perceptually based installations. There's some pictures on my website: www.nzbsculpture.com

you could honestly start a little mini business for those window units. its a very cool concept. i'm sure almost every ext cab guy would want one.

The problem is that I welded the motor mount to the existing window latch mount. I also used pieces from a dodge caravan window. I could 3d model all the pieces and print them to make a bolt together kit, but it would take me some time. I may do that in the future, but I just don't have the time right now.

Stumbled on this from another post. Love it!!

Do you happen to know or write down the random parts you did use to construct the motor?

edit: also how do you like the Coopers for normal road driving?

    Mount and coupler https://amzn.to/38iaDWt

Like I said earlier, I welded the motor mount to the existing vent window mount since they were both aluminum. You could probably attach them with bolts but it was easier to weld for me.

I used the linkages from dodge caravan vent window motors. I ended up using the stock through window piece and threaded a hole into it to accept the caravan threaded rod. You could probably rig up something else. I suggest going to a junk yard and looking at the mounting through van vent windows.

I think the coopers are fine for on the road. I haven't had them that long so I can't really comment on tread wear. I don't drive that much(Tallahassee is relatively small) so I don't think I'll have an issue of going through them too quickly. They are really the only option for an on road tire in 255/85. All others are MT.

Haven't had much time to work on Tiffany lately. I did just drive to Kansas City and back in 3 days (over 2000 miles), to deliver one of my sculptures. Tiffany handled it just fine.

Pulled the flares off today to spray them with some Rustoleum Truck Bed

What I didn't take pictures of was the hours of sanding and scraping the old gaskets off to install new ones.

Installed new Cab Mount Bushings today since my cab has been slowly sinking over the years. It was pretty straightforward. Make sure you read the directions that come with the Energy Suspension Kit. They are not exactly the same as the OEM ones in the way they go together.
I got them from here: And followed this writeup: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/body-frame-mount-bushings-diy.407123/

Did you notice a change in the ride quality? Like maybe an improvement? I've been looking at that same kit.
