hey, so I need some advice if y'all can help. I replaced my lower ball joints, outer tie rods & right upper ball joint today. I've got an 02 RC 2.7 prerunner with 320k miles. So everything went pretty smoothly but on the driver side lower ball joint one of the bolts must have cross threaded or stripped cause now it's just spinning. Won't tighten (or come out). It's the outer front bolt. Is there anything I can do for it other than replace the spindle? I'd appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Thanks & I love TW! This place makes everything so much easier.

If it's stripped you may be able to drill/tap/heli coil. Good luck

I would drill it out out retap it and use a new high grade bolt with some loctite when you replace it. Or replace it for safety?!? :notsure:

Thanks. I'll prob try to retap it first & use a slightly larger bolt. If that doesn't work maybe the helicoil method. I'd rather not take the whole thing apart if I can help it.

The other 3 bolts are torqued right & loctited. Hopefully they will hold until I can figure it out.
