You're going to want at least three of primer and three of paint. Unless you have some sort of macho titanium armor paint. In which case, tell us what you're using lol

Meh. I don’t have super coats. I did 2 primer and 2 color. Been fine. When i scrape them I’ll just touch it up.

I prefer my paint to peel off when I lick it.

....or maybe I put multiple layers of primer, paint, and clear and didn't post a picture of every single layer I did. :duh:

Need to pull mine and clean them up. Brown isn't the preferred color or texture

With a few bucks, ideally I'd get mine blasted and coated

I might get them coated too. Don't feel like inhaling paint fumes again :anonymous:

From what I've seen, the coatings hold up well to regular road abuse, and the paint is good for touchups....

So why not coat them, and touch them up as you go? My 2 cents.... (And future plan)

I'm probably gonna do that. Might as well since it's all there and it might cost about the same as my rear bumper or a little more

It’s not hard to avoid if you’re painting outside with a light breeze....unless you also have trouble accidentally peeing into the wind.

Or you could wear a mask.
