Timbren rear bump stops and Factory TSB

Well this is a simple question. Do the timbren rear bump stops work with the factory rear suspension set up with the TSB 4 leaf spring set up or do you have to add a rear leaf pack and longer u-bolts to make it work?

why are the timbren bumpstops so great?...arent they like $120 bucks? How hard is it to install jounce shocks or air/hydraulic bump stops....how much do those cost...is it worth it to save up and install them on our trucks...how much smoother are major impact events like jumping the truck when you have real bumpstops??

 

The Timbrens aren't made for jumping and heavy duty trails- They are more of an inbetween imo.
The Jounce set up is about 1200 bones and requires drilling and a fairly specific set up or custom fabrication to install (Like no UBolt flip kit or you need to build a pad to go over the threaded end of the ubolts.) If you want to jump your truck...I would save up for at least the Jounce kit...if not a LT kit.

 

Yeah, I don't want to jump the truck, I just want to be able to keep the rear fender from hitting the tire on a trail or when hauling heavy stuff in the bed. The Timbrens are a good bit taller than the OEM bump stops and are supposed to be able to allow for limited up travel and will keep the rear fenders from popping off or worse... breaking off.
Also, they're closer to $200 bones now...

We have special Timbrens for the rear made to fit with our rear u-bolt flip kit. You can get both for $209. We are working on getting them on our website, so just give us a call if you're interested.

As mentioned before, the Timbrens are a great in-between level bumpstop.

They are open mon-fri like 8-5 or something. I know they close at 5 but not sure what time they open

 

anyone got pictures of timbrens with the u bolt flip? how long are the u bolts in the flip kit? will they fit/work with my lift blocks?

 

I Doubt it. You might have to buy longer ones.
