    Im sure the mods will add a section when the new body style comes out. I would not call the 2012 a new body style. Its got some new front end features but the suspension and motor are still the same. When toyota puts new all around parts and a COMPLETELY different body that would be a "3rd" gen

    Technically it'd be 6th gen cause they changed the grill to the honeycombed one in 2011. And the LED lights in 2009 would be 5th gen.

    Things and stuff and such
    The 1st gen Tacomas got a face lift in 98 and again in 2001, but they are still 1st gen Tacomas because the overall body style, chassis, and drivetrains are the same. The face lifted' 2012 2nd gens will not be referred to as 3rd gens. Thank you.

    If the above is the case then we should really have a 6th or 7th gen section as the "1st Gen" had al least a couple different cosmetic updates (just like the 2nd gen has).
