Time for a New Battery

    In the past I've run the Checker/O'Rielly/Kragen whatever batteries and had mixed luck. Then I switched to Interstate and it never let me down. Even with a bad cell it started. Sort of gave me a warning signal with a slow crank when it's really cold.

    Lately I've switched to the Pepboy's Champion AGM batteries. They are a bit more, but they have been good to me and getting stranded sucks.

    There was an entire thread on jumper cables/boxes too. If you're concerned, you might grab one "just in case". It's cheap insurance.
