time for a new sound system...

my '06 2WD taco w/150,000 miles is getting painted and it's time for an aftermarket stereo upgrade. I figure this crew on Tacomaworld would be great for suggestions.
I'm hoping to afford the following;
Satellite (XM, etc)
Bluetooth
iPod integration (heck, that's just an input jack)
CD
Navigation (Garmin, etc)
Feel free to tell me what you got, what I should get and what it cost you (or will cost me).

Excellent before and after purchase advice and support. They provide everything you need for the upgrade, make recommendations, detailed instructions during and after the installation. I have used them many times over the years.

 

Question about the repaint. Are you changing colors or a respray? And about how much is it to have it done?

The paint on my 2006 is awful.

 

X2 on the Crutchfield as they have superior customer support!! I have been very happy with my dealings with the company!

 

Agreed, I can't believe the paint on these '06's hasn't been recalled.
I went south of the border for two quotes using a trusted Rosarito Beach Firefighter I know which were, $1600 and $1200, then went to Maaco (seeking the lowball quote) which was $1550. I'm changing color so that's extra $$. Made an appointment with Maaco because the guys who do the actual prep and tape off work were doing good work from what I saw. At 150,000 miles this is it for the Taco but the old paint is falling off.
