time for my sob story...

figured id share what is going on in my life with you guys since TW has some pretty stand up guys and gals on here. my girl of 4 years and i decided it was best to split up. it was mutual, we didnt get a long and argued alot. but a lot of that was from either one or both of us being a hard ass and not wanting to back down. i thought it would be better being without her. not having to fight and argue. but its been a month and ive done nothing but miss her, miss her, and cry.

i find the hardest part is to say you dont care, because you really shouldnt care what the other is doing now that you arent together. but every bone in my body still cares. i am having trouble letting go and being on my own. she, and her family, was a big part of my life for the past 4 years.

this break up was not necessarily the end for good. there is always a chance in the future. but getting through each day is hard. just coping with not being together. its weird, i dont regret the decision to break up, we needed the time and space apart. but i feel regret in being such a hard ass and dick at times. i caused her to push herself away from me and vice versa. yes i have gone out with friends and family to help take my mind off her. but the minute im back home or in bed, there she is in my thoughts. just sucks ass!

i think my next relationship is going to be a very expensive, very nice blow up doll

 

i feel you on that one, kinda like the situation for me. i dated the last main girl for 5 years. and yes im only 19 now but still counts.
but i miss her everyday too and still love her with everything. and we still say there could be a future we just have to wait it out.

but in my case she was the hard ass and wouldnt compromise, and at the end i think started to cheat on me. thats why we spilt but i still care about her with everything i have and think about her tons. the pain gets alot easier with time. but for me atleast i still think about her the same amount it just doesnt get to me as easliy.

 

Just take it one day at a time man, many of us have been in your situation, aaaand your one year younger than me which means we still have years to live unless...

Just keep your head up. It will get easier everyday. If you are wanting her back discuss both of you being hard asses, and what you and her can do to make it right. If you don't feel you want to be back in the relationship you just have to ride out the pain. If its not meant to be there is someone else that will make you much happier. I was in the same boat about 5 yrs ago and now I have the girl I have been searching for. We have only had one argument in 4yrs of dating...
