Time for someone to fess up

I don't think Toyota does. Some dealers "supposedly" do. My truck truck "supposedly"
has a lifetime warranty on all internally lubricated parts through the dealer.

 

It's a dealership thing.

My Wife has one on her 4 Runner, but we have to go to Virginia to use it and have all oil changes done at the dealer....

 

You forgot the big one; wife got it in the divorce and "always did hate that f***ing truck".

 

Some people have lots of money,and could care less about a few minor add ons at trade in.

 

Right. He just had buyers remorse and decided to get something else.

 

Everybody knows you meant $250 per wheel,there is no place anywhere you can get 4 new factory Pro Tacoma wheels for 4-$250.

 

Just curious, how did you end up with a minimal loss if you sold it for slightly more than you paid for it?

 

$5k in mods. Left most of that on the truck.

 

If used is selling for 4k-5k over kbb that means your financial institution is going to finance you at max value and ur going to need to bring the difference. Now a dealer will be glad to tack that xtra onto the final price putting you upside down just like trading in a vehicle that you upside down in and tacking that onto your loan. Not a good idea. Just my .2

 

I asked my dealer before buying my truck. If I had to get all the service work done there for the lifetime powertrain warranty to remain in effect. They said nope. Said they'd sure love to have me bring it in to them each time. But all I have to do is provide proof, receipts etc. That all maintenance was done according to the maintenance schedule in the user's manual and I'd be good to go.

 

That idea worked before and probably still does. Not that I would know...
