Should i get a color matched grill and do the BHLM? And also color matched devil horns. Then paint my step ups black? I know its my truck my choice so dont tell me that. Just looking for your opinions.

    Thanks

That would be exactly what I would do... I've never been a fan of chrome at all.

I like my color matched grill surround, often thought of doing the insert blue also. I'd keep the steps "chrome" ties in with wheels plus I don't think any black coating would be very durable over the most likely stainless steel step. A few gritty foot falls and the shiny would be showing through. I also rebadged mine.

Yes, i was also wondering if the steps would stay black but i see what you mean about going with the wheels. Think ill leave the steps alone. Still not sure about the rest.

    thanks for your input

Should be able to buy them, I think Camel Back Toyota had a special on them recently, might be still running. I would be skeptical about the long term durability of painting over the chrome. I checked at a local body shop about getting my black center painted Speedway Blue and he told me that if it was a new part he could get good results but he thought he would have adhesion problems on the current part.
