I have had a slow oil leak for a while on the top end of my 3.6L V6. It has never burned oil or left a puddle until recently. So now that it has became a problem I am going to replace the head gasket, spark plugs and spark plugs wires while it is apart.

Where is the best place to buy the parts I need in a bundle or separately?

Is there anything else I need to do or might want to do while I have this thing apart. I have 220K miles on her and she runs great still.

As a side note, how long will it take to do the lower ball joints?

Are you replacing the head gaskets or valve cover gaskets? I would suspect your oil leak is from the valve covers.

I meant the valve cover gaskets. Would it be hard to do both or just extra work?

Personally I would no be removing the heads unless the gaskets where blown, a lot more work.

You might consider checking the valve clearances.

I use the dealer; next day on most parts, perfect fit, high quality, easy return on unused items.

Well he has to pull those to do the valves, so why not? Don't see the logic in pulling it all apart and put it back together and then have to do the spark plugs and wires again at another time when he can replace with new if he needs them done anyway? Makes way easier of a job with out everything in your way as well.
