Time to get brakes done for the first time

    The OEM brakes are shot at 45k miles? I understand that driving conditions matter but that seems really early. I made it to 80k before needing to do the brakes. Even then it was only the front and really only the rotors that needed it. The pads still had life left. I did front pads and rotors and all is well, but I'm surprised yours needed attention at only 45k.

    My brakes were also done around 50k miles. Not cause they were worn out, but from the pulsating pedal.

    I called the local Toyota dealership. New rotors are $120 each. I called O’Reilly, they resurface rotors for $40 each.
