So this is not the production piece but damn near the same. This was made special because of my previously welded slider location.

For now you have to have poly body mounts from energy suspension but I am working on the factory body mount style type.

My custom version is moved back 4" but production will be 4.5" to get more weld room on the circle and the production body mount will have a different profile to better fit the frame, I cut these before I cut off the factory body mount and had the actual frame dimensions.

Is anyone interested in trying these out at a discounted price and doing a full write up with better pictures for me?

Procedure is simple, loosen one sides rear cab mount and remove the bolt for the front. Remove front body mount bushing and cut and grind the factory body mount smooth. I used a 4.5" grinder and a sawzall and it probably took 40 minutes a side. Then you bolt in the reinforcement plate. At this time you can locate the new home by indexing the body mount to where it is flush on the frame and is centered with the hole of the reinforcement plate. Then you mark and drill a hole for the new body mount bolt. On the top layer you need to use a 1.5" hole saw to make an access hole to drop the bolt in (in the production kit I will include a new rubber plug). Then you bolt up the body mount with the bushing and then can tack the new body mount in place. Remove the rubber bushing and fully weld and paint and then reinstall with all of your new found clearance.

Today I had a buddy come over and have a hammer party. We were able to push back the firewall within an inch of the factory body mount hole. This is clearance that you would never have with any sort of cab mount chop.

Looks good, nice to see others taking their own approach on the relocation. I only had one issue with the redgoatfab version and that was the plate that centers the new cab mount, I had to grind it back to the bolt to make the room I needed. Im surprised you have so much room with those tires

37s too big. Shaft lasted a week of off-roading and half a trail.

Probably going to drop it back down to a 33 or 35 and lower it back an inch to stock height and use it to tow an actual trail rig.

The trail readys and 37s will go on the new trail rig.

I have got to sell my built 44 that I was going to swap before I can do anything else.

So the poor Taco goes in favor of a nicely built crawler?

I don't want to get rid of the taco, and probably won't because of my asking price. Hopefully I can downsize the Tacoma so it can tow this and I will have the best of both worlds with a side of shitty towing.

Tacoma costs lots of money, the crawler only cost me $3500 because it needs wheels and tires and the guy is trying to move and needed a quick sale.
