I think this is probably the date and mileage of the timing belt change, nothing else under the hood. 196,464 on the clock. Would you assume that or just change it?

I agree, if you don’t know for sure change it out, but the 3.4 is a non-interference motor so the worst thing that can happen is it leaves you stranded somewhere if it breaks.

Myself I would unbolt and slide the Top timing Belt cover front and check out what the belt looks like .

Unless you feel like changing it at 35,000 miles again.

Your truck your rules mine is at 250,000 miles I need to think of having it done the first time.

That's a pretty ambiguous sticker. It could mean anything. Maybe that's the mileage/date the PO lost his virginity in the back seat...

Timing belts are a ~90k/9yr item anyway.

As @Wyoming09 said, I'd inspect the belt first and go form there. As others said, it's a non interference engine so it's not going to blow up if it breaks, but lot's of people get 200k+ out of their timing belts. Not that I'd want tp push it that far on purpose.

    The aircabinman one?

Yeah, that's where I got mine, too. He has several kits, just make sure it's the right one.
