@ 1 drop per week, that would be around 3,750 weeks (or 72 years) to lose one quart, assuming you didn't change your oil, ever.

I'd damn sure be letting that ride too...

...If anyone didn't watch the video, here are where the leaks occur.

... How often do they recommend replacing the timing chain?
That, spark plugs and other things could/should be done while it is out of the truck.

Don't have to, but with your millage and if planning to keep the truck, I would replace the chain, chain guides, the tensioner and all o-rings

The cover is not just one piece, consists of 3 parts each overlaying the other. They all have thru bolts that pass thru the cover behind. It is very important once the process to assemble is started it has to be done in a timely fashion so the RTV sealant on the first and second covers does not set up. No lunch break in the middle of the assembly process!

This is in response to your quote " others have had it start leaking again even after paying for the repair".

    Just live with it, IMO

Had to stop multiple times watching the video but I just finished watching it.
He did a great job, filming, editing and narrating it.

I'm 68 y/o. I will be retiring in a couple of years and there will be minimum miles put on it then. I plan on this being my last truck.
I mentioned earlier that I am buying a 2025 Ford Transit to tow my boat, Triton 240 LTS (avatar photo), my haul my Honda CRF 300 Rally and to camp in so I hope to be putting the major miles on that vehicle.

Is there a video or post on how to do the RTV fix? I’ve pretty sure my 2016 has the same issue and I’d like to try this fix. Otherwise I just plan to monitor the oil level and determine later if it’s worth the $$ to fix it or not.

If you or anyone attempts this it a 2 piece cover. the first one goes on then the second one that goes on has bolts that go thru the first one which hold both covers on. The key is to do it all at once and quickly before the RTV sealer sets up on the first one, if that makes sense. Might be covered in the video.
