    I may be getting a 2007 4x4 with a 2.7 in it.

Do Toyota Tacoma 2.7 engines have a timing chain or belt?

Does it have to be renewed or adjusted over the life of the vehicle?

I've had Nissan pickups before and the 4 cylinder and V6 engines had to have timing belt work after 100,000 km.
