Timing Cover Leak?

Is this the notorious timing cover leak? Any suggestions on repairs? I have read through a few posts where people cleaned off/ resealed the access panel. Any advice helps... thanks, guys.

 

Yes it's common for them to leak there, yours doesn't look too bad yet.

You basically have 3 options:

Let it leak.

Clean the area really good and smear RTV over it and hopefully seal it.

Completely reseal the timing cover.

There is a 4th option as well. You can use the blue devil oil stop leak. Worked well on my truck and going 3 months without a leak.

 

Hell, I might just do RTV and Blue Devil. Thanks for the advice guys!
