    damn, the house came down fast. I remember back early i was in the process of ordering from tim but backed out for arb. At that time he was delivering his bumpers at reasonable leads.....now shit just collapsed.

    Well, I admit it. I visited someone after they burned me for $1500 over a time span of about 8 months with no delivery. I left with his motorcycle. Signed the title over to me in his garage. Took it home, sold it and sent him the difference after my fuel costs for the visit. Not saying everyone should do that...but I had nothing to go on legally and I just wanted to talk to him. Sometimes being a larger fella helps. :D

    I hope you get your money back OP....just don't do anything stupid. It isn't worthwhile when you reflect on it from a cell... ;):bananadance:

    Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
    So a member takes $150 and never delivers some headlights and TW goes apeshit including posting pictures of the guy's house, etc. (all with TCBob's approval ), but another member takes $1500 and everyone gets all sensitive and cautious. WTF? This place makes no sense sometimes.

    Honestly it sounds like the op was respectable in trying to get his money back in a responsible fashion and that didn't work. I think posting the vendors personal info is appropriate. He isn't advocating violence. And if I was in the ops situation I would visit the vendor and let him know I wanted the money back in person. $1500 is a decent amount of money. I've seen worse things on tw regarding vendors.

    also, I don't think "Tim the DB" had been fully labeled a DB at the time. Such has since passed to verify he is in fact a DB. I wouldn't be opposed to the info being back in the thread. Not sure what the statute of limitations is on going after him for lost money at this point.
