Got the KC Hilites Pro 6 pair installed, these things are sweet! Super low power draw, and nice and bright.

Had a blast at Overland Expo West this weekend! Got to see the new 4th gen tacoma in person, and I gotta say, it makes me love my 2nd gen even more. I'm sure it's gonna be a great truck, but I like the simplicity of the 4.0l and barely any tech.

I also got to hit some trails, which was pretty fun. I muddied the truck!

I may have also spent a bit more money than I planned, but I love KC Hilites!

After being gone at Air Force Field Training for three weeks, I finally graduated. To celebrate, I picked up a set of brand new Pakrax rock sliders off Facebook Marketplace for a great deal. I can't wait to install them!

I also won a $500 Tacoma Lifestyle gift card at the Overland Expo West! Not sure what I'm getting yet.

Also, I guess I never posted it, but I now have KC Flex Era 3s as my ditch lights and fog lights.

I drove up to scout camp for the last night of their week, right after I finished my Air Force ROTC field training. Here's me parked next to my dad.

Picked up some rotopax cans today, a 3 gal and a 2 gal gen 1. I'm currently fabbing up a bracket to bolt them to my bed rail, I'll update tomorrow when I get a chance to paint it.

DIY Rotopax Bracket made! It turned out great, so much more secure than my 5 gal can ratchet strapped in. I enjoy making things rather than buying everything.

(Yes, I know it is pic heavy, I took a picture at every step)

Had a fun 4th of July trip to my girlfriends cabin. Had some fun in the woods, and hit Sycamore Creek on the drive home.

So I used my $500 Tacoma Lifestyle gift card I won to get some odds and ends I've wanted for a long time. I figured this was my chance.

ARK Splash Guards to replace the OEM ones that suck. (I was even missing one because it fell off):

    20230701_132739.jpg

    Diode Dynamics LED Interior lights:

    20230704_225641.jpg

    20230703_213535.jpg

I also got a Midland Micromobile GMRS radio that I need to setup and install still, and some other small bits and bobs.

    Thanks Tacoma Lifestyle!

Started today off great! My girlfriend said I decided to drink my coffee "watering hole style."

Good news is that I spilled it perfectly into the cupholder.:bananadead:

    Your build looks good!
How do you like the Flex Era 3s as the ditch lights? Do you have any beam pattern pictures?

They're great, they have a much wider beam than the baja design squadrons I had before. The spot is also a lot more focused and travels further. I don't have any beam pictures right now, I'll see if I can grab some tonight.

Those were the combo version of the squadrons? I wish the made a wide lens for the FE3, on my last vehicle I had SSC2s in a combo pattern that I later swapped for a fog pattern, and I liked that much better. For this truck I'm thinking a wide beam pattern is the way to go, but I'm intrigued by the FE3s.

Yeah, the ditch lights are a clear combo beam, it's perfect. The fogs are an amber spot pattern right now, they do sell an "SAE" combo beam in clear and amber. I ordered the amber ones, but they came as amber spots, which is what I already have on the fog lights. I'm working with KC, and they should be sending me the correct ones soon.

Sorry for the delay in pictures, but here they are. Also, pictures of every other light I have. The pics don't do it justice.

Also, in the AZ summer heat, I felt like my AC wasn't blowing very hard. I pulled the cabin air filter, and it improved about 10-fold. It was all clogged and dusty. I have now replaced it with a K&N filter, and it blows much, much harder.
