Installed the Pelfreybilt Aluminum skid plates (IFS and Mid) that I got from @T-rev today! Working in the 115° heat is so fun!

 

I didn't like the gap that my new skid plates left between the front crossmember and the bottom of my Victory 4x4 Blitz bumper, so I made a filler panel out of some sheet metal. I think it turned out well!

 

Did a little wheeling with @Yacob_D yesterday out at bulldog canyon. It was a good time, and cool seeing action shots of my truck!

 

After going around and around with KC Hilites, and not being able to get an amber wide lense for my Flex Era 3 fog lights, I replaced them today. Scored a good deal on these G4 Amber fog lights! We'll see how good they are when night falls.

 

Cleaned up the Taco this morning! My roof clear coat is going, so I'm going to have to find a solution to that.

 

Picked up a new thing for the truck today! Hopefully installing it tomorrow.

Took some Fords out wheeling this afternoon, my brother's F-150 FX4 and our friends Ranger 2wd. I got to use my winch and my towstrap for the first time! The ranger got bogged down in sand on two different occasions. 4wd gang is superior

 

Not the best time today. The key to my locking rotopax mount broke, and the round part fell off in the desert sometime yesterday, because I filled the cans up right before going wheeling. I had to drill out the lock as the cans were bloating in the heat today, and I'm going to Flagstaff in the morning. I didn't want the cans to rupture with the pressure change. If anyone has any tips for self-venting rotopax, I'm all ears.

 

Had a blast in Flagstaff with the Boy Scout troop. Camped at FT. Tuthill county park and did some mountain biking. We did Flagstaff Extreme this morning before the long drive home.

 

Swapped out my fairlead for one that matches my truck, courtesy of @MR E30 today.



I also picked up a rear bumper a few days ago for a bargain, it needs a bit of TLC, but I'm happy to have armor for the back now.

Went dove hunting out in Bulldog Canyon with my dad this morning. Road was closed, so we took a way longer wheeling trip to get where we wanted to go. My rock sliders paid for themselves today, I dropped the passenger side off a rock and put the weight of the truck on the sliders. No issues! PakRax makes a great product.

The taco turned 150,000 today!

 

Wired up the third brake light on my camper shell this afternoon. I've had the shell on for almost five full months now, and I've been meaning to do it for a while. Good to be legal!

 

Did some 150,000 mile mx today. Did an oil change, lubed my UCAs, got the tires rotated, and I replaced my air filter with a K&N one. I also put a coat of paint on my rear bumper, hoping to install it here soon.

Wash day today!

 

AZTW Mod Day today. Installed my rear bumper and my behind the grill light bar. Only messed up a little bit, but everything is fixed now.

 

Got the horns re-installed and rear lights wired up today.

 

Went night wheeling with my brother and our buddy, got to pull his 2wd ranger up several hills and out of the ditch.
