Ordered and mounted a low profile UWS light duty tool box

So, with the addition of my tool box, I had to relocate my hilift (from bolted inside the bed) I ordered some Hilift tube mounts and toyed around with mounting it on the front and back, in the end we decided on top of the bull bars was the best choice for access, for ground clearance as well as no impeding function (opening tailgate and hood). I mounted the heavy side on the passenger side, I'm debating getting a cover for the mechanisms, and possibly removing the base plate and keeping it in the tool box due to a little jiggling when driving. All in all I'm pretty stoked about the mounts, My handle holder got thrashed on my last trip to AZ so I replaced that as well. Decided to end the day with bacon burgers, whiskey and a campfire.

 

Removed the old light and light brackets, removed the fried police PA/ siren and prepped the ditch light brackets and wiring harness, setup the wiring harness for the rear lights as well (lots of wire) getting some off and on flickering, going to set it up right in the morning and troubleshoot if it's still difficult. This has me on a wiring kick, maybe some tool box lights... some engine Bay lights? We'll see

 

Installed Ditch lights today, wired the rear bumper lights and tore out the old wiring for the front lights and rewired the leads to match. Everything was lining up and coming together nicely until the final front 9" led. The final thread on the light itself was stripped. I don't mean I stripped it from overtightening etc, I'm bummed that I switched from one light on the driver side to one light on the passenger side but overall stoked about wiring my own lights... some whiskey was needed at times
