I had my 22 TRDORDC tinted last week before a road trip. Supposedly it was SunTek ceramic nano tint. I noticed while driving out that through my sunglasses, there are vertical lines on the tinted windows. I’ve tried different sets of sunglasses and all similar. I’m heading back now and haven’t contacted the company yet.

Has anyone had this issue before? This is supposed to be a quality product.

The pics below aren’t the best however you can see the issue.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I think it's normal. Polarized glasses plus polarized tint. Worse with some glasses than others.

Thanks guys. Living in Arizona all of our cars have had tints and this is the first time I ever noticed it. We wear Ray Ban & Maui Jim sunglasses so they are very high dollar as well.

Ohh hell yea. That’s what the service advisor will tell me. $149. For tint fluid flush.

This is why pilots usually prefer non-polarized sunglasses. A lot of the gauges have anti-glare filters that’ll do the same thing with polarized sunglasses.

Those sunglasses must be polarized. For this reason alone, I don't own any polarized sunglasses.

I believe those lines are there in windows from the factory (I've seen them and mine aren't tinted), but the polarized sunglasses definitely create the rainbow.

I'm assuming it's a ceramic tint film to help block heat, with polarized glasses and ceramic tint I've experienced the same thing in my vehicles, but to a lesser extent. Change to non-Polarized sun glasses for driving.

My high school science teacher showed the class something similar with a polarized lens. It was cool. If he rotated the lens, the colors would change.

Polarized for sure. Really only need them near the water or highly reflective areas, but to each their own. Popular selling tactic these days honestly
