If you plan on off-roading at dusk/ dawn, or at night I’d only get the fronts to match. Or you’ll be driving with your windows down and collecting dust all over just trying to see around your truck

I have had mine done for a few years. It's the first mod I did to it. 20% all the way around

It's not that bad. If you can's see just roll the windows down. I just back-up by feel now though

What is your local laws regarding window tint?
Refer to those if you wish to avoid harassment.
Otherwise 20% matches the rear tint very well

Ehhh. We don’t have inspections in OK. You can get away with about anything.

If that's the case, I like 20% all the way around and 50% on the windshield.
I can't get away with that in Wisconsin

I did 20% Expel XR Plus on only the fronts. The color tone is slightly different but it matches darkness pretty well. The front has a slight blue grey tone snd rear has a tanish tone. Its subtel and only noticible from the inside. Hardly noticable from the outside. I may do a light tint on rears and back someday simply to match tone but for now I am happy with it.

I’d do the windshield but I go to work at 5:30 am everyday. I’ve always felt having the windshield done is asking for trouble, even tho it looks nice.

I like to be able to see at night, and avoid attention, so 35% (or was it 39%?) for my front 2. I also think the lighter tint looks better, dark tint to me looks like you're trying too hard.

Whatever you choose I would recommend something with either a carbon or ceramic film. I have Sun-tek CXP carbon. There is a very noticable reduction in cab heat in the summer. That's with just the two fronts done at 35%. I also did a visor tint, the carbon material cuts out all of the glare as well. Basically, dont go with simple tinted vinyl.

Mine is 20% on the sides and whatever legal for the sides in Utah is on the windshield.

It looks cool and you can’t really see inside even during the day, but it’s kind of hard to drive at night.

Sides are good with 20% but keep the windshield clear.
