Alright, got the truck back! Again, I went with 70% 3M Crystalline all around, including the windshield. I think it looks great. Here is a before picture..

Here are some after pictures with some more light and brightness.

And here is one as it was getting a little darker..

I just got my Tacoma last week, yesterday I got my front passenger windows tinted %15 percent and the front windshield %20 percent. I need to go back and get the rears tinted more to match the front %15%

Came out excellent. Windshield isn't much darker than mine, so I feel a little better about it :p

Screenshot_20190504-011652_Photos.jpg I did 5% and regret it everytime I drive at night. Looks great during the day but is pretty sketchy making turns at night on dark roads. Have to often roll down the window to ensure I'm not going to drive up on a curb or something.

Did 20% on my last car and that still looked good during the day but was much safer at night.

I believe my topper is tinted to 30% so this serves as a good comparison of those two tints.

Thank you man! I’m happy with how it came out. I was debating up to the second I turned over my keys to the shop, but I’m glad I stuck with 70% all around like I originally planned. Definitely pricey, but I’m sure I won’t be stressing it during the month where it hits 110...

I honestly didnt know you were allowed to do the windshield at all besides the brow around here. Good to know though. I think I may go similar route as you but go check out Reeves.

It isn’t legal in CA. Only the brow is allowed.

I got 20% on my fronts, that's the legal limit here; not that I'm concerned with it. I just like to be able to see at night. I can post a pic later.

He went to a shop that is willing to install it regardless of the law. My side windows are illegal in CA. I think they only allow something like 70 to the front side windows. I got 35 installed, and hopefully never get cited.

Windshield tint is illegal in all 50 states. I went 50 this time because 20 on the last truck was to much. Have 50 on the windshield and 20 on the sides of both the t4r and my pro. Just drove from sc to pa back to sc. cops passed me and didn’t bat an eye.

Gotta find a reputable shop that’s willing to do it is it. I won’t own a vehicle without tint, especially the windshield. ED51EB3A-A2ED-4C54-B075-14D255AB635C.jpg

Same here, I also have 5% all around and have for years now on all of my cars and no issue seeing at night. Just have to pay attention.

Company that did mine included ticket protection. If i get a ticket, they will remove tint, I go get ticket signed off, then they reinstall tint.
