Blackout tint. Petaluma. Northbay. 75 dollars for the front two windows. Most places will do it, just look around harder.

You tried showing up? I would figure most will, but over the phone, they don't know as much as to who they're talking to. It isn't on them if you get a 'fix it' so why wouldn't they. I actually haven't ever heard of that. Sorry if I'm no help but I am just suprised

    stock..for now
Just keep in mind that you can't go dark in Cali. They have to be no less than 70% VLT (Visible Light Transmission percentage). CHP is serious when it comes to this. At 70%VLT it's almost pointless, you won't be able to match your back widows without being illegal. If you decide to, be prepared to:
    A. get pulled over twice a week.
    B. pay the $498 ticket (for the first one)
    C. take it back and pay to have it removed
    D. be unsafe during night driving.
There is a reason you're having a hard time finding a place in Cali....the shops don't want to do it and then pay a fine when you get busted.

Soooo, if you just want a tiny bit of tint you're okay...anything more than that, well you've been warned. Good luck.

Some shops will not do it because it's a warranty issue with the tint laws.

The shops in my area will do it, but you have to sign a document releaving them of liability if you get an inspection ticket becasue of it being too dark.

    LOL @ D

If you get 5% I can understand but even with 10% you can still see at night there are A LOT of variables when driving at night.

Thats a little far fetched saying unsafe driving at night.

    It depends on your age
    Your eyes
How the area is lit around you
If your used to the tint yet
    How dark they are
    How dark the back is
