Tint %

I would like to tint the two front windows on my 2011 DCLB Sport. What % tint is on the back door windows as I would like to match it. Also what are the best brands of tint material.

Any shop should be able to easily match your rear window %. My truck is a match at 15%. Brands... I'd stick to the major ones. 3m, llumar, etc.

The shop that did mine used 20%.

From the outside it looks great. On a sunny, looking thru from the inside there's a slight difference in color difference. The factory tint in the rear has a slight bronze tone to it. Never really noticed it until the fronts were done.

 

I wish I could do 15% on my front windows. The legal limit in Texas is 25% on the front and anything you want on the rest.

 

I got 20% up front and it is just a little bit darker then the back. You really have to look to notice. $60.00 cash since anything darker than 35% Is illegal here.

I always go 20% its as dark as u can go an still kinda use ur mirrors at night
