I grew up in so cal. I know how it goes. Always watching for cops. Rolling my windows down so they can't see my tint. Glad I left. Okies don't care what you do

Not a third gen but this is Buster. Buster was 20% on the front row.

Well if you're not afraid of breaking the tint law, I did 10% up front and 5% in the back. I have my windows down most of the time so cops never bother me.

The great thing about tinted windows, if you're ever in a position to get busted....just drive with the windows down. LOL!!

I only have my windows up in the rain and the way I see it... What cop wants to stand in the pouring rain to give me a ticket?

It seems like the only time they will stop you for window tint is late at night or if you're traveling out of state.

it's not as bad as you think. it helps dim oncoming lights and helps with dimming the some a little.

18% all the way around with 70% on the windshield. I get that some people are going to give you flack for tinting the windshield at all but there are some great benefits.

    1) Less fatigue on the eyes during bright days
    2) No need for a sun shade when parked
    3) Keeps heat off my dash cams
    4) Essentially zero UV rays reaching the interior

I was going to get the brow but when he said he had to take mirror off, I thought maybe not! Unless they can do it without mirror off, I'll hold out!

I got my front tinted today but held off on brow, I'll check other places because I've always liked the brow for shade on eyes an the looks!

Also the guy at another tint shop said they have this film they can put on the entire outside of front windshield to keep out the ray, WTF it was big buck too!

Any way, I post pics soon

    thanks

My tint guy also said he has film for the windshield. He said since I got all my others tinted if I get this or even the lightest tint he guarantees me that when I get into my truck it will be so much cooler. I live in modesto California and in the summer it gets up to 106

20% all around with 5% windshield strip. The SR comes with no tint on any windows.
First picture is with no tint.
