I'm wanting to black out my front end, I don't wanna do the whole baking the head lights thing. I'm wondering if any ones ever used "night shades" or other products like this on head lights? If so post some pics? And explain how/ what you did please! I couldn't find anything else on this besides the baking method.
    Thanks!

You will ruin your light output. Why would you want to make it harder to see at night?
edit: oh and i believe people have tried it. Looks are ok if you don't drive at night.

Tint (35%), a must. Step bars, Bull bar, Bull lights,4x4 light mod, Flip down 10" DVD player, De badged, Color match front emblem, color matched bumpers., black out tails, Cobra cb, Flashlight mod,bed-light mod,
In most states it it illegal to tint the headlights. And why would you want to inter fear with the ability to see anything at night time?

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
I guess I'm an old dude. I don't understand the blackout lights thing. Why reduce the output of your lights? My headlights are hazzy and it bothers me!

you might look into after market lights that have black housings and smoked lenses. They will give you a nice appearance and proper function

I just really like the look, I thought new head lights would be a lot more expensive than they actually are. I wasn't sure if those products would be that terrible at night, sorry, but thanks for steering me towards the right path now.

I was going to black out the housing on my kafer, but I decided to use blue Lamin-X instead. Used on race cars, most notably yellow on Porsches.

I will probably do the same for my Taco with a universal sheet.
