You asked for honest. They all look like crap except for the stock unmolested ones.Tinted tail lights and headlights are up there at the top of the dumbest mods list in my opinion. Not only is it there the safety factor but it screams out "HEY OFFICER PULL ME OVER!!!". Then following that is the dumb thread started by the individual crying about how the were ticket by the horrible police officer.

/ rant by grumpy old man :D

Way too dark. It makes your lights too dim. Even lit up they just look like a standard taillight assembly with no lights on. On a bright day, someone following behind you may not realize you're braking. You're a rear-end collision waiting to happen, and the accident will be your fault.

    Jake, they're too dark.
Also, you need to have them Shine! Need a little more elbow grease in polishing up those bad boys!

You should do a light Smoke tint. I went through 3 Different Set ups and Finally found what I like...

2009 Smoke Tint to still show off the LED Style.

I'm very relaxed. The reason we have brake lights is so that people know when we're stopping. In an emergency stop situation, seconds count. The more time you can give to the person behind you, the less likely someone will get hurt or killed. It's not a pay attention problem. If someone was following behind you on a motorcycle at what would normally be a safe distance, your mod could kill him if you had to make an emergency stop. At freeway speeds, that distance closes very rapidly.
