I would say very likely. As for my input, you're welcome. Here's some more. Here's an interesting study on reaction time:
    http://www.visualexpert.com/Resources/reactiontime.html

    Of particular note:
One of the most difficult situations occurs when a driver must detect motion of the car immediately ahead, its acceleration or deceleration. Accidents frequently occur because the driver fails to notice that the car ahead has stopped and does not apply brakes until it is too late.

For what it's worth, it's not a love or hate thing. Lots of people do things to their trucks that I don't like, but it's their truck so I could care less. I like the darker look better but I'm against both tinting and your light setup. Modifications to safety equipment which makes it useless or reduces it's effectiveness is reckless.

I understand wanting to differentiate your truck but I think you should reconsider the way you're doing it. You need that light to shine through better. What you have there is downright dangerous. Your vehicle is a moving road hazzard.

I completely agree. If I ever rear-ended you, I would sue the hell out of you.

In fact, with all the insurance fraud going on these days, I bet there are some people out there that would hit you on purpose once they saw those tails.

Also, it looks like shit, IMO.

    Negative "style points" if any.

    Yep.

If he gets rear ended at a red light, his insurance company is gonna tell him to piss off and he'll be SOL and if he has medical, they may tell him to pay his own hospital bill too.

    But they look cool.

Kidding, I've never liked ricey lighting mods. Don't even get me started on freakin' eyelids, God I hate those freakin things. It's like, I have no money for real mods, so I'm trying to make my truck look like it's mad LOL. Ok.
